Skeleton Jump

Get in touch with the inner Rasta in yourself!

Wanna smile? Wanna dance? Wish life was a beach party?

Skeleton Jump is a "reggaefunk" band, based in Western Australia's South West, charged with the spiritual and moral responsibility of perpetuating the fun and laidback tropical island/beach and surf lifestyle through reggae music and dance.

Expect to hear all the great reggae anthems of the '70s with a couple of modern takes… and when the crowd is in full jump-up mode, Skeleton Jump will meet, greet and keep the party pumping with an off-the-lip, bottom turn combination of retro-flavoured funk and disco dance standards that will keep everyone feeling "irie"*.

The seven band members include experienced music and pro audio industry professionals sharing several decades of experience and a reputation for reliability and professionalism between them, so you can be certain of a crowd-pleasing live music experience with familiar and broad appeal.

Skeleton Jump appeals to a "crossover" demographic engaging retro music lovers with the familiar, as well as younger audiences in their 20s and 30s with the band's live energy, "party music" atmosphere and modern treatment of the material.

The format is ideal for festivals, events and weddings.

For the bigger, festival-style events, Skeleton Jump and The Boneyard is the band for you! Talented musicians John Hayes, Steve 'Muz' Murray and Jono Westwood join the core 7-piece band to 'drive our original songs mixed with covers that have strong brass arrangements'. This thoroughly entertaining combination has played at the Donnybrook Apple Festival, local venues like Moody Cow Brewery and had top billing at New Year's Eve on the Foreshore, East Perth 2013.
