Raymond Crowe

Australia's only 'Unusualist', Raymond Crowe presents a captivating and hilarious combination of visual comedy, cheeky ventriloquism, astonishing shadow puppetry and even a magical dancing jacket or two.

Always a crowd-pleaser, Raymond's show is packed with surprises, laughter, intrigue and loads of audience participation - perfect for the whole family, including teens.

He has performed at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, for the Queen at The Royal Variety Performance and on TV shows including Late Night with David Letterman and Spicks and Specks.

The popularity of Raymond Crowe among his peers and audience is such that he was invited to become the first-ever Australian magician to be on the now famous NBC TV special 'World's Greatest Magic'. This fourth annual TV special was filmed before a live audience at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas and included what were considered to be the 20 greatest magicians in the world! The show was viewed by more than 20 million people world-wide.

Raymond was also a featured act for the toughest audience in the world - and received a standing ovation from 3000 magicians at the World Magic Convention 2003.

In his live show we see Raymond and his self-inflicted magic sprinkled with witty, charming comedy, fun audience interaction, participation and hand manoeuvres that have to be seen to be believed.

Raymond's unique brand of entertainment includes a fine understanding of the art of ventriloquism, which when tempered with his gentle, good nature lets his 'volunteers' become the stars of the show.
