At just 19 years of age, Brodie Stewart is an accomplished and dedicated young musician, bringing to the stage an eclectic mix of jazz, pop, rock, acoustic and electronic music, with a strong energy behind each tune.

Classically trained on piano from the age of 6, Brodie has focused on developing impeccable technique and expression.

By the age of 12, Brodie had developed a strong and alluring taste for jazz, and in 2012 was accepted into the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) to study a Bachelor of Music, majoring in jazz performance on piano.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Brodie has infiltrated the jazz and contemporary music scene, often lining up with many groups throughout Perth and the South West, picking up numerous awards for his songwriting and piano abilities along the way.

Over the years, Brodie has had the opportunity to work with many well known artists. At just 15 years old (2009), Brodie was asked to musically direct the famous "Little Shop of Horrors" at the New Lyric Theatre in Bunbury. In the same year, he supported such acts as The Three Chinese Tenors and John Paul Young, as well as accompanying the well known Normie Rowe.

In 2010, Brodie was asked to accompany Dr Jonathon Welch AM (Choir of Hardknocks) during a series of workshops he directed throughout WA. Jonathon also invited Brodie to undergo further music study with him in Melbourne, Victoria.

In 2011, Brodie accompanied Dr John Hooper (Canada) for a series of choral workshops, as well as supporting Daniel Gassin, an international jazz pianist. It was also in this year that he performed onstage with Phil Ceberano.

Recently, Brodie has worked with such groups has the West Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra (WAYJO), Horizon Art Orchestra and Just Sax.

It is not only performing music that has tickled his fancy; Brodie is also a skilled and gifted sound engineer. From a young age Brodie developed a passion for the world of audio and production, and acquired a desire for quality nothing short of perfect.

Brodie is at the forefront of the West Australian music scene and has produced, recorded, mixed and mastered countless projects.

He is constantly working with a variety of artists through all phases of the creative process. Whether it is working on arrangements, production or the recording aspects, he believes strongly in highlighting the artist's unique aspects, putting them a step above the rest.
